TAG's Card Care option is available with every grading purchase, and includes the careful removal of fingerprints and debris before imaging and encapsulation, along with slab sleeves to protect the final graded cards. No chemicals or foreign substances are applied to the card during this service, which involves a deionizing process and the use of even pressurized air to assist in the removal of debris without damaging the card's surface.

This service is designed to provide for optimal imaging in our system for the cards as sent to TAG, and is not intended as a restoration service for damaged cards.

TAG Customer Service does not recommend the use of any aftermarket polishes, waxes, or cleaning sprays for cards sent to TAG for grading - these products have been known to leave residue marks on the surface of cards, and may be flagged in our system as altered. Cards designated as altered cannot be graded by TAG and no refund can be issued for cards showing evidence of alteration.
