TAG’s multi-patented grading system is built around machine-learning image capture software which analyzes cards for defects, damage and imperfections. This system allows TAG to grade cards definitively without human bias. Furthermore, TAG’s technology identifies non-human-observable defects on a card - these defects found on the card do not fall within the threshold for industry-standard grading, but are used to create digital fingerprints of each TAG'd card.
