Why is my order "stuck" in Verification? What is the Verification Stage?

The Verification stage is the longest stage the card will move through in TAG's grading process - at this point, our quality control and grading team go over the system's data, examine what was found and carefully inspect this information for errors.

As TAG's method of grading is both advanced, and new to the market, we want to make sure it's consistently working properly. This is the most involved step of TAG's grading process and involves the cooperation of many individuals to analyze data before Grade Finalization is approved.

Orders may display as being in the Verification stage for the majority of their processing time at TAG. TAG cannot offer any timeline regarding any step of TAG's process, as all steps are contingent on current operational capacity with orders approaching their due dates prioritized at all times.

Following the verification process, slabbing, imaging of the final slab, and shipping are all fairly quick to follow.
